Hopkins Inn is renowned for its restaurant which specializes in contemporary Austrian cuisine.  The picture windows in the Victorian dining room offer a panoramic view of Lake Waramaug.  When the weather is pleasant, guests may dine outside on a flagstone terrace shaded by a grand horse chestnut tree.  In the cooler months, a roaring fire in the tavern room provides a warm and intimate atmosphere.

Choices on the menu range from Wienerschnitzel and Piccata Milanaise to Steamed Lobsters and Live Trout Bleu.  To complement your meal, the cellar at the Hopkins Inn features an extensive selection of wines. 

Each season, many of our guests host special occasions at the inn.  These events include small weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, reunions, rehearsal dinners, cocktail receptions, holiday celebrations and small corporate retreats.

This year, the restaurant closes for the winter on January 1st and will reopen on March 21st, 2008.  However, the inn will remain open for guests as a bed and breakfast.
